Health & Safety

It is our strict policy that all operatives of K M Developers UK receive training in Safety Awareness. With this they are able to care for their own safety and recognise the need to safeguard others that could be affected by their activities.

All operatives are site inducted and receive a copy of K M Developers UK Health & Safety policy including RAMS and Site Rules. There are mandatory bi-monthly Tool Box talks which all operatives must attend. Our plant operatives all hold CPCS training certificates for the machines they operate, and are all CSCS accredited. Use of machinery and power tools will at all times only be operated by operatives who are trained and carry the relevant certifications, this is fundamental for the safety of others. Alongside that, Site Managers are SMSTS qualified and First Aid trained, attending refresher courses on a regular basis.

Considerable time & resources are implemented to constantly update and improve on all aspects of Health & Safety. Accordingly, we strongly promote and reinforce the importance of and our commitment to this by ongoing development and training, Tool Box talks and monitoring of all our employees qualifications and needs. To guide us in our compliance with H&S, our external Consultants make regular site visits to carry out spot checks and advise us with ongoing H&S updates, thus constantly improving on K M Developers UK’s Health & Safety.
